Congratulations to Anhui Liuguo Chemical Co., Ltd. on the successful commissioning of its 200kt/a food-grade carbon dioxide plant

  In response to the call for energy conservation, emissions reduction, and the development of a circular economy, Anhui Liuguo Chemical Co., Ltd. began researching food-grade carbon dioxide recovery technologies and downstream products in January 2012. After nearly a year of research and comparative evaluations of design firms, the company signed a contract with our firm in January 2013 for a project involving a facility with an annual production capacity of 200,000 metric tons of food-grade carbon dioxide and its downstream products.

  Based on the composition of the company’s CO₂ feed gas, our company finalized the design plan and carried out engineering design, supply, and commissioning in accordance with the construction drawings. Through the joint efforts and cooperation of our technical staff, the facility achieved successful first-time startup, with all production process indicators exceeding design requirements. According to on-site analytical instrument testing, product purity is consistently maintained at 99.99% or higher, with total hydrocarbons ≤10 ppm. All results meet the quality requirements for food-grade carbon dioxide (GB10621-2006).
